About CYLA

The Centre for Young Leaders in Africa – Zambia Chapter was established in December 2017 by Program for Young Politicians in Africa (PYPA) Academy Participants. It is registered in Zambia as a non-profit voluntary organization, which is open to young people active in or interested in politics who meet the membership criteria and abide by the CYLA Code of Conduct. CYLA has institutional members that comprise political parties that include the Alliance for Development and democracy (ADD), Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD), Green Party (GP), Movement for Multi-Party Democracy (MMD), National Restoration Party (NAREP), Patriotic Front (PF), Rainbow Party, United National Independence Party (UNIP) and United Party for National Development (UPND).
